Sterilization clinics
ACT SA, and the state veterinarian's office in Oudtshoorn, run weekly sterilization clinics on site and also go out in the Mobile Clinic to do sterilizations in outlying areas.
With this programme ACT SA can boast with the following figures:
2016 - ±300 animals in need sterilized - this is the year we started the programme during August.
2017 - 700+ animals in need sterilized
2018 - 1739 animals in need sterilized - ACT & OVD merged and became a force to be reckoned with.
2019 - 700+ animals in need sterilized
ACT SA regularly does outreaches in the poorer communities to EDUCATE, dip and de-worm animals in need.
